At the start of the New Year we are thinking about upgrading our computer system and are considering one of the Refurbished Laptop Computers that are available from various vendors.

We see many ads for various makes and models and do not have a preference over any one of them other than it should be one of the Top Best Buys available. We hear that the Macbook Pro is an excellent model but have never used a Macintosh. If you are happy with your Macbook Pro please let our readers know.

We are more familiar with the PC type computer with a Windows operating system and probably will be sticking with that type because we will not have to learn a new operating system, although I hear that the Macintosh operating system works very much like the PC and has far fewer security problems.

What do you have to say about the difference between the Mac and the PC? It looks like there are plenty of vendors of refurbished laptop computers out there. Manufacturers such as DELL, SONY, Gateway, Toshiba and plenty of others all offer good machines and they all seem to have a refurb outlet. Some of them show up in our own ads from time to time and we are not sure which one is best.
